Mumbai, perceived as the land of opportunity where dreams come true. Many come aspiring to achieve their dreams in hope of a better tomorrow. Tragically, many find no way to start of their life and end up spiraling to tough means of living. Mahim Creek is a hub where we find many of these people who have had theirs hopes and dreams shattered struggling to live. 

Most of them get hooked to drugs and join gangs. In the process we come across many who are injured badly with ghastly wounds that often get infected and end up needing amputation. Sadly almost none of them go to the hospitals to get treatment due to the long hospital procedures and requirements or the lack of awareness of free services available at government hospitals. 

We recognize the medical need in our holistic approach of impacting with compassion. We have helped several people with various injuries, a few had wounds which were filled with worms. Unfortunately we are limited in our ability to care for all of them due to the elaborate procedures and rules by government hospitals. Our teams have been trying to be on a look out for urgent serious cases and helping them through the hospital systems.

We are hoping to set up a mobile medical clinic with full time doctors and nurses on board to ensure immediate treatment and speedy recovery. It will also serve as an awareness tool to educate the people on health and medical aid where awareness camps will be conducted in the various locations. We also plan to brainstorm and develop more ways to be productive in meeting the needs of the people in Mumbai.
