Akash's Story

 

Dashing young Akash is 11 years old and the eldest among four boys. Before he joined the program in Juhu, he spent most of his time wandering with friends. He really enjoys the time of singing with the team and really learnt the importance of studying. Now he is one of the proud students that received admission to school this year. By being around the other children in school, he realized the significance in cleanliness. He now makes it a point to dress neatly and looks really smart in his uniform.  He says, “My aim is to study well and get a good job so that I can take care of my family”.
